So what do we do with food that was leftover from an event? Since the event was a fund raiser, not a paid for meal, we brought it back and got to conjuring!

And we decided to make a ton of chicken salad! 28 pounds to be exact.. we made up 96 box lunches that had chicken salad sandwiches, potato chips and cole slaw. Then ran them around town dropping them off for people to enjoy! Just one of the ways we try to give back to those that support us.

You never know what Mondays will bring!

Today we had an unknown vehicle come down the driveway. Which happens more than you would think, people trying to get to the river, lost or just investigating.. and how they get greeted varies depending on what time it is!

Thankfully it was still daylight, so I came out clothed and not brandishing a weapon!

Some of our awesome neighbors customers brought us a gift! A really cool gift because it is from a business that used to be just down the road many many years ago! Beautifully framed and preserved, this piece of Oregon County history will have a home inside the restaurant.

We are so lucky to have great neighbors and customers! Thank you both so very much!

Another day, another food experiment!

Smoked Chicken Salad!

So this was kinda cheating, we found the recipe we used years ago and made a quick batch! Talk about delicious! Perfect sandwich for a warm sunny day!

So my question is, do you want yours served on toasted bread with lettuce and tomato? Or just plain? Let us know what you would prefer in the comments!

It's Funday Sunday and it's a perfect day to get out and enjoy!

We've had a fun morning, but almost everything has been fixed after our 4.5" of rain yesterday! But, there are a few wash spots on the miniature golf course, so watch your step there! We'll get more gravel this week and fix those!

But we have a few new summer side options for you to try! We have a Mexican Street Corn Salad, Broccoli Salad, and a Cucumber Salad with an unexpected twist! And by that I mean it's spicy! Somehow, the red pepper flake we used gave it a major spice kick. So we know to modify that recipe for next week, but I'm strange and kinda liked it.

We also have Peach Cobbler in the deli case! Which we will happily warm up for you in the toaster oven if you prefer yours warm!

So come out, enjoy your Sunday with your family and friends! Play some golf or co****le and eat some delicious food!

Once again.. playing with our food brings tasty results!

Hot Mother Clucker!

A twist on a previous sandwich we used to do. Starting with two naked chicken tenders tossed in a spicy buffalo sauce. Then pepperjack cheese and a pile of pulled chicken drizzled with our house made buffalo honey and ranch. Finished off with a touch of our sweet cole slaw and pickled jalapenos! This huge chicken sandwich brings the heat with a touch of sweet! And of course could be ordered without the spicy buffalo if you prefer. Would you step up and try a Hot Mother Clucker? Decadent thick rich milkshakes! The perfect treat on a hot afternoon or evening.

While we offer incredibly delicious shakes made from Nadine's Homemade Ice Cream, we had to play and see if they could be made even more amazingly over the top!

So how about a Banana Pudding Shake?

That's right, we took the boss lady's fluffy tasty banana pudding and blended it with Nadine's vanilla ice cream! Along with fresh banana, and Little Debbie Banana Pudding Creme Pies! Talk about a super rich thick shake.. WOW! Mind blowing how good it was honestly! Would you want super decadent milkshakes to be available in the ice cream shop? Let us know in the comments!
