❤️ 38 YEARS OF MARRIAGE — AND WHAT A JOURNEY IT HAS BEEN! ❤️

Today, the owners of Sabbaba are celebrating 38 wonderful years of marriage!

On September 22, 1988, Rachel and I were married in Israel at the magnificent Great Synagogue of Jerusalem — Beit Knesset Hagadol.

Our wedding took place the day after Yom Kippur; just as our anniversary does this year.

It was a spectacular celebration and a day I will hold dear to my heart forever. We were surrounded by family and friends from Israel and the United States, along with dignitaries from the Israeli government who joined us for this very special occasion.

Rav Druk of Jerusalem officiated alongside my father and grandfather, z”l, both Rabbis. The renowned Chazan Naftali Hershtig also participated, together with his 12-year-old prodigy son, a beautiful soprano who would go on to become a world-renowned and accomplished Chazan himself.

And what a spectacular 38 years they have been!

Rachel was raised in Netanya, Israel, while I hailed from New York — a soon-to-be match made in Heaven. ❤️

Together, we have been blessed to raise our three wonderful sons, Dani, Yoni and Benji, and 10 years ago we welcomed another precious blessing into our family — Esti, our delicious granddaughter! ❤️

Over the years, Rachel and I have built and grown several businesses together, with Sabbaba being our latest venture here in Orlando, Florida.

But of everything we have built together, nothing makes us prouder than the family we have raised and the life we have created side by side.

We are deeply thankful to Hashem for the abundant blessings He has bestowed upon us throughout these 38 years, and we look forward to the years ahead!

Don’t forget - Today is also Tuesday Nights at Sabbaba serving a delicious menu of both Israeli dishes and New York Deli - the culinary fusion of our two cultures.
