I remembered your kids when they were little coming to enjoy their first meal at the restaurant. And now it great to see them all grown up ( sorry i missed not seeing your other daughter when I dropped the food off) . Thank you for your continuous support and we will see you soon!

Mr. James Chandler was one of our Saturday’s customer who would travelled from NY C by bus to visit Allentown to see his trains at 12 th & Vultee street n eat at our family restaurant for lunch n before heading back on his bus to NYC and grab dinner at House of Chen . He turned 77th this year n he hasn’t travel since covid to different areas to see his train displays n shops. When he found out House of Chen closed it doors, he was devastated . Long behold , he came to Southside Bethlehem n ate at Jenny’s Kuali and came for a few years before covid hit. We always wonder what happen to him. One Christmas, he send a Christmas card with a picture of him n his dog. And left a phone number. First time for everything! I got to replicate this ### rated cookies to cheer a friend . This is a very time consuming job. I can see why a machine is better to make this delicate cookies. Anyone remember those quotes for this adult cookies?

Do you remember this art work that hung in the back of House of Chen in the 70’s? These are the 8 immortals and almost 12 years ago, I took them down n keep them in a bin at our basement. Today, I reconnected with Jodi Elissa. House of Chen has been part of her young childhood. It’s like a second home. Her mom (Ruth ) also helped us in the early days . Jodi is now a mother of two and also an artist. Those picture frames were redone by Pam Hassey ( Jodi knows her well) who passed away a few years ago. Cherish those memories and enjoy this pieces.
