Dinner Ride
Please join us for the dinner ride on 8/23 as we travel north to Buffalo Wild Wings in McKinney. The restaurant is located in the northwest corner of US-380 & US-75 – in the Target shopping center; 972.548.0746; www.buffalowildwings.com. They have quite a variety of menu items including burgers, sandwiches, wraps & salads, and their award-winning wings.

Anthony has planned a 16-mile route to the restaurant; he will be leading the ride with Jimmy’s assistance. Plan to arrive at the Allen HD shop around 6:30 to get staged, hear a brief safety talk and directions for the route we’ll be taking … kick-stands up at 7:00 pm. ETA at the restaurant by 7:45. The forecast for Friday is calling for mostly sunny skies with a high of 96°. Hope to see you then!!

We're kicking off H-D 110th Anniversary weekend a little early! 110th Pre-Party & Veterans Event!
Fundraiser ride registration at the shop 8-10am, KSU - 2 1/2 hour ride ends back here at the shop for our Vets event! $15/rider, $10/passenger. Proceeds from event benefit Plano VFW as they are in need of support as they must relocate. First 100 registrants receive free gift! Pre-registration is now open here at H-D of Dallas at the cashiers counter!
Event 11:00am-3:00pm! Live music, free bikini bike wash, vendors - all 110th pre-party style!
**ALSO - Carter Blood Drive (11-4) & Harley's Heroes/DAV will be on-site (11-2)!

Dinner Ride
Friday August 30th, our dinner ride will take us to Rock 101 Grill – Little Elm. Keith Fowler (Huck) recommended we go here … give him a pat on the back for this great suggestion. The restaurant is located at 2833 Eldorado Parkway in Frisco – in the SEC of Eldorado & FM-423; phone 214.618.1701; their menu can be viewed at www.rock101grill.com. They have a nice large patio, and will have a live band that will begin playing at 10:00 pm.

Lloyd has planned a 20-mile route to the restaurant; he will be leading the ride with Ron’s assistance. Plan to arrive at the Allen HD shop around 6:30 to get staged, hear a brief safety talk and directions for the route we’ll be taking. Kick-stands up at 7:00 pm; arrival time around 7:45. Hope you can make it out!!

Please join us Friday as we head to Lucy’s Mom’s on Main in Aubrey (phone 940.202.4940) for some delicious home cooking. The restaurant will be offering a complimentary piece of chocolate cake to those that order a meal. They are now licensed to sell beer & wine.
Stan Dietz has planned a very nice 35-mile route to the restaurant that’ll take us into Denton County along some beautiful farm-to-market roads; Rick will be assisting on the ride. With this being a longer-than-normal route, please be sure you have plenty of gas for the trip there and back. Also, we’ll be traveling at highway speeds on some of the roads. We will leave the Allen Harley-Davidson shop at 7:00, so plan to arrive by 6:30 for a brief safety talk and to hear directions for the route we’ll be taking. The forecast Friday is calling for mostly sunny skies with a high of only 89° (SWEET!!!). Hope you can make it out to this fine little mom & pop café!

Please join us for the dinner ride July 12th as we meander south to Siciliano’s – A Taste of Italy at 2210 W. Buckingham Road in Garland. The restaurant is located on the south side of Buckingham between Shiloh & Garland Avenue; phone 972.276.8913; website www.sicilianosgarland.com. They’ve been serving delicious Italian food in Garland for over 30 years, and I personally think they have THE best garlic rolls! They will have a private party room reserved for our group.

To facilitate preparing meals for so many people at once, we will order from a modified menu. Food orders will be taken after the last pod has arrived and everyone is seated (ETA 7:40). Please bring cash to expedite payment!

Ron Fields has planned a 17-mile route to the restaurant; he will be leading the group with Mark & Jersey’s assistance. We will leave the Allen Harley-Davidson shop at 7:00, so plan to arrive by 6:30 for a brief safety talk and to hear directions for the route we’ll be taking. Friday’s forecast is calling for mostly sunny skies with a high near 97°. See you Friday.

Game time is 7:00pm - This event is in lieu of our traditional Friday night dinner ride.

Ticket includes: ball game, unlimited hot dogs, brats, nachos, and Dr. Pepper products until 90-minutes after scheduled start time, a ball cap, program, and after game fireworks show!

Ticket pick-up time will be arranged prior to game date.

We will leave from Harley Davidson of Dallas at 9:00am on the morning of July 4th. We will be riding up 75 thru Texas and Oklahoma. First and last day will have approx.. 310 miles each. We will base out of Fayetteville Arkansas . During this trip we should be able to see fireworks, depending on how much water the area gets. We’ll ride allot of back roads thru the hills, with a lunch/shopping stop in Eureka Springs. We’ll cover the Pig Trail.
Return time is up to the group going on what time we do KSU on the morning of the 7th.

Please join us for the dinner ride Friday as we take a ride to Country Burger in Murphy. The restaurant is located at 104 N. Murphy Road in the northeast corner of Murphy Road & 14th Street; 972.516.2210; www.countryburgertx.com. Country Burger does not serve any adult beverages, but they are BYOB and welcome us to bring our own.
Stan Green will be leading us this evening with Rick’s assistance. We will leave the Allen Harley-Davidson shop at 7:00, so plan to arrive around 6:30 for a brief safety talk and to hear directions for the 16-mile route we’ll be taking … ETA at the restaurant is 7:30. The AccuWeather forecast: partly sunny, breezy & 63°. We hope to see you Friday.

Breakfast Ride

Come join your fellow Chapter members Saturday morning for our May breakfast ride to Po’ Melvin’s in Irving. They have an all-you-can-eat breakfast buffet with a made-to-order omelette station for $8.99. You can view all buffet items at www.pomelvins.com. Kick-stands up at 09:00, so please arrive at the Allen HD shop around 8:30 to get staged and hear a brief safety talk. Walt will be leading the group on a very nice 39-mile route; Glenn will be assisting. We should see highs Saturday of 69°. See you then!


Sunday 5-5

Come join us Sunday, Cinco de Mayo for the 4th stop of the 2013 Panther Creek HOG Chapter Taco Challenge. Each month through November we’ll be visiting ‘taco stands’ in search of the best street tacos in north Texas … this month we’re going to Tacos & Avocados in Roanoke. Rick Pridemore has planned a very nice 43-mile route heading west through Lewisville & Flower Mound to the restaurant. Steve Gentry will be assisting Rick on this ride.

Please be at the Allen shop by 10:00 to get staged, hear a brief safety talk & directions for the route we’ll be taking … kick-stands up at 10:30. The forecast for the day: high near 75° with a possible afternoon shower.
Following the ride each month, a ballot will be emailed to the participants so we can rate the tacos. Come join in on the fun – there are some awesome taco places in the area!

Stan Dietz has planned a really nice 25-mile route to the restaurant; he’ll be leading with Ed’s assistance. The expected high will be a very pleasant & sunny 70°.
