💥 We are less than TWO WEEKS away from the biggest party of the summer! 💥
We hope you can join us!
Here are a few things you should know before the big day ⤵️
🚍 Parking & Shuttle Service
A portion of our parking lot will be unavailable due to the Big Top Tent 🎪, but don't worry—we've arranged overflow parking and FREE shuttle service throughout the day.
Shuttle pickup locations:
• Heritage Park
• Future City Hall Site
• Peterson Park
The shuttles will run continuously as needed and are completely free.
⚠️ Please use extra caution when turning from County S onto Church Street and Michigan Street, as we expect heavy pedestrian traffic throughout the day.
The Fun Starts Early 🥳
Live music and concessions kick off at 9:00 AM.
World Record Bloody Mary Attempt 🍅🍺
At NOON we'll begin assembling and mixing what we hope will become the World's Largest Bloody Mary.
Creating a 300-gallon cocktail takes a little time! Guests will be able to watch the process as the giant Bloody Mary comes to life.
Prior to the first pour, we'll hear remarks from Mayor James Winter and celebrate what promises to be an unforgettable Independence Day in Algoma.
The anticipated "First Pour" is expected around 1:00 PM
🍅🍺 FREE Bloody Marys & Beer Chasers
That's right—FREE for everyone 21+!
Come thirsty and help us make history.
This monster cocktail will stand over 6 feet tall and hold approximately 300 gallons!
Why?
Because the current record is roughly half that size... and it's held in Canada. 🇨🇦
No offense, Canada, but for America's 250th birthday, we think this record belongs in Wisconsin.
Following the first pour, we'll raise a glass in memory of "Grandma Smashed"—the force of nature who helped build this place and created our signature award-winning Bloody Mary.
Help Us Give Back 🇺🇲
Please consider bringing a non-perishable food item or making a donation.
Throughout the day, we'll be collecting donations to benefit local organizations that support our community, including veterans programs, the local food pantry, and the Violence Intervention Program.
Blessing of the Fleet ⚓️
The Annual Blessing of the Fleet begins at 4:00 PM.
We've moved the ceremony earlier than usual so all you thirsty captains can get back to the party sooner!
All vessels are welcome. Please monitor Marine Radio Channel 14.
Boats should begin lining up around 3:50 PM to follow the Coast Guard out and under a water salute performed by the Algoma Fire Department for the ceremony. 🛥
The Party Keeps Going 🍾
Food, drinks, raffles, concessions, and live music will continue all day and into the evening.
Then at 8:00 PM our headliner 🔥 AMERICAN PLATINUM 🔥 takes the main stage!
Fireworks at Dusk 🎆
Because it wouldn't be Independence Day without a big, beautiful fireworks show over the water!
We CAN'T wait to celebrate with you.
