Update!

A forklift driver who works for our food service company over in Jamestown had an accident inside the warehouse freezer, and was hospitalised.

The freezer itself is the size of the Walmart in Hornell. All the food in the freezer was condemned by the FDA.

It looks like the driver will survive which is great news. They’re all cleaned up and ready to start restocking the freezer.

We are navigating the situation as best we can given the massive disruption to our supply chain.

We’ve been able to get some things from other companies, but we refuse to work with a big corporation like Sysco, so while we’ve managed to maintain some inventory for this past week we will start to have some shortages next week.

When I know what those shortages are, I will make another update.

Hello everyone. We have some bad news.

There was a catastrophic accident at the warehouse of the company that does the majority of our food ingredient supply. The FDA came in and condemned all of the food.

It’s going to be a week or two before they get back up and running. We spent last night looking at other companies up in Rochester and none of them can meet the quality of ingredients that we provide.

Our ownership team is in agreement that we would rather be out of something then serve inferior ingredients than what you’ve come to expect.

We don’t take it lightly that you spend your hard earned money with us and it’s important to us to make sure that you’re getting something that is made with the freshest and highest quality ingredients possible.

So to that end, our menu is probably going to change starting Monday until our supplier is back up and running. 

As soon as we have more information, we are going to make another announcement.

For our special today through to Saturday dinner:

BBQ pulled pork sandwich!

Succulent pulled pork with melted cheddar, BBQ sauce, and grilled onions on our homemade brioche bun.

Served with a side of pasta salad (!!) and fries. $18.

Available 11 to close.

Dinner is off to a great start! Join us this week for dinner and wines. Wednesday through Saturday 4pm to 7pm.

We will be extending our hours past 7 pm once we get the kinks worked out.

During alumni weekend, we will be open until 9pm.

We have a lot of great dishes for dinner tonight, including:

Small plate tapas like balsamic Brussels sprouts, Spanish red pepper, Spanish tortilla, and artichoke antipasto (all not spicy!).

Mains including a cheddar burger with caramelised onions, chicken mole, and a classic cobb salad.

We have a great selection of red and white wine tonight, featuring an outstanding Burgundy from France, and some great Rieslings from up in the Finger Lakes.

We’re cooking until 7pm. If you’re in the door by 7, we will happily serve you.
