Last week we had the pleasure of cooking for a wonderful family on Lake Anna as they wrapped up their family vacation. The hostess shared her review of their experience and we couldn't be more grateful.

Chris's Dishes strives for excellence in every detail, and it was an honor and pleasure to deliver such a memorable experience for them.

Nothing like helping celebrate 40 turns around the sun!!!

A memorable birthday deserves a memorable and delectable feast! Plenty of planning to keep this one a surprise rifht up to the end!! From the company, to the menu, the cocktails, and the tablescape...everything was perfection!

To complement the menu, we paired a Chardonnay and a Cabernet Sauvignion from Barboursville Vineyards. And for an after dinner cocktail, espresso martinis for everyone!

The menu:

Oysters Rockefeller (our way......with a lot of bacon)

Heirloom Tomato Charred Corn, and Cucumber Salad

Sliced Ribeye Steaks, Roasted Zucchini, and Papricka Potatoes

Carmelized Peaches with whipped Marscapone and pound cake.

Happy Birthday to Lauren Marie and shout out to her wife Briana Barca for pulling it off!
