St. Cloud…are you KIDDING ME?!

Schmidty’s was voted PLATINUM — #1 in Cafes & Coffee Shops in CommunityVotes St. Cloud!

We opened our St. Cloud doors less than SIX MONTHS AGO.…and somehow you guys said, “Yep. Those soda people.” 😂

Starting somewhere new is scary. There have been slow days, stressful days and plenty of moments where I’ve wondered if St. Cloud would love Schmidty’s the way we hoped you would.

I think we got our answer. 🥹

To every person who has walked through our doors, brought a friend, told someone about us, shared a post, grabbed a DOTD, filled a tray, came back for your “usual,” and VOTED for us…thank you.

And to our soda artists — THIS IS YOURS. The drinks matter, but the way you make people feel when they walk into Schmidty’s matters even more.

Less than six months in and you made this little soda shop PLATINUM. 🏆

Schmidty’s has officially been nominated as one of Alexandria’s Top 5 Best Small Companies to Work For and this one means A LOT.

As much as I love our soda lovin’ people, I might love my soda artists even more. 🥹 They are the personalities behind the counter, the creativity behind our drinks and the reason Schmidty’s feels like Schmidty’s.

When I started this little soda shop, I wanted it to be a place that brought people joy AND a place where people genuinely loved coming to work. To have our community recognize us for exactly that is pretty dang special. 🩷

To my soda artists, this nomination is YOURS. And to everyone who nominated us, THANK YOU for seeing and loving what we’re creating here.

We’ve only been in Alexandria for a little over ONE YEAR, and somehow you’ve made us feel like we’ve belonged here forever. 🥹
