Hello everyone! Peppery Pete here and I like to tell you that I will have my website back up August 1st. I must say it has taken a bit longer than I was expecting. i am thinking right now that once I get my website up, it will take about 3 weeks for me to get selling. I should have my pepper powders for sale around the 3rd week in August.

Good morning! Good news my 2022 pepper powders are now on sale at Southern States in Alexandria! I have great new peppers! The hot Targu Mures paprika I estimate the heat level at 30,000 on the Scoville scale, that’s low end Cayenne heat , with a very nice sweet almost fruity flavor! The Peruvian White Lightning habanero with a nice Parmesan cheese flavor, the Ethiopian Brown with a nice fruity smokey flavor and i estimate the heat at 30,000. I also have the Ghost pepper all in 1.60 oz. bottles for $5. I have the Carolina Reaper and the white 7 Pot Bubblegum it’s around ghost pepper hot with a nice sweet flavor , not citrusy! The new harvest is in! I have some new peppers for this year and some tasty favorites! The Bhut Jolokia originated in northeastern India and was once the hottest pepper in the world. The Bhut Jolokia has a great citrusy flavor with a hint of earth tones. The Aji Pineapple is a wonderful pepper that is originally from Peru! Peruvian Aji peppers are known for their flavor, most have a delicious fruitiness flavor that leans towards tropical flavors. The Aji Pineapple pepper has a great sweet pineapple flavor. The heat of this pepper is between 15,000 to 30,000 on the Scoville scale! Compared to the Jalapeno pepper which has a heat range of 4,000 to 8,000 on the Scoville scale, so the Aji Pineapple does have a nice kick to it. The heat comes on nicely , but not so hot and fast that you can’t taste the wonderful flavor! The great thing about pepper powders is that you can add just a very lite sprinkle and enjoy some heat or add a lot and get much more heat! Pepper powders are a great way to taste the true flavor of a pepper without all the vinegar you get from hot sauces! The Aji Pineapple is a great flavorful pepper with a nice heat to it!

The 7 Pod or 7 Pot gets its name from 1 pepper can heat up 7 pts of chili. Great citrisy taste and the 7 Pod on average is as hot as the Bhut Jolokia (the ghost pepper) . I have these for sale on my website in .80 oz. bottles for $6. Http://www.pepperypetes.com
