Our APPI Code of Practice & PCQI Training is underway at Clemson University in Clemson, SC, with nine companies represented from across the country!

Through this interactive course, participants are learning how to meet animal food safety requirements, identify hazards, establish preventive controls, and develop and manage food safety plans with practical applications for rendering operations.

A special shoutout to our instructors for sharing their time, expertise, and practical insights and to our Clemson hosts and everyone working behind the scenes to make this training a success!

The Senate Agriculture Committee’s advancement of the Agricultural Act of 2026 marks an important step in the Farm Bill process and includes several longstanding NARA priorities important to the rendering industry.

NARA thanks Chairman John Boozman for his leadership and looks forward to continued work toward a bipartisan Farm Bill that supports U.S. agriculture, strengthens trade opportunities, and recognizes the important role of rendering.
