All of my lemonades are named in honor of someone special or something meaningful in my life. This is the story of the CCTofLA, also known as my peach lemonade, and how it ties to Camp Happy Days.
My nieces attended Camp Happy Days for many years. CHD brought light into some very heavy days, created moments of joy, and helped shape our family in ways that will last a lifetime.
When I faced cancer myself, the time my nieces spent at camp reminded me that hope lives in the impossible—something Camp Happy Days taught our entire family. When I received my diagnosis, I knew I wanted to devote my life to giving back in some way.
I chose my peach lemonade because peach is the color that represents endometrial cancer—a season in my life that changed everything and quietly rebuilt me, much like CHD helped shape my girls into the amazing young women they are today.
Endometrial Cancer and Childhood Cancer awareness are both honored in the month of September. A gold ribbon represents childhood cancer awareness and peach represents endometrial cancer awareness.
For every peach lemonade sold, $1 is set aside for Camp Happy Days throughout the year—a place that brings light, normalcy, and joy to kids walking the same road.
This isn’t just a drink on the menu.
It’s resilience.
It’s purpose.
It’s a small way to turn something difficult into something that does good—hope in the impossible.
Thank you to everyone who has supported this cause. If support is given to a charity, it should be one whose impact has been personally witnessed. I have personally witnessed the impact CHD has on its kids and their families…My family.
Cheers to Camp Happy Days. We love you!
