We were on the news yesterday promoting our artist gallery opening and pop-up TOMORROW, Saturday from 11-2 at Remedy Coffee! Come visit us, support local artists, view the new gallery show, and grab coffee and baked treats!

Beginning Sunday, November 20th through Saturday, November 26th, Remedy Coffee will be collecting donated items in-shop, all of which will be delivered directly to New Mexico Coalition to End Homelessess. The Coalition will then distribute the items during the annual Point-In-Time (PIT) count, a statewide census of people experiencing homelessness that HUD requires be conducted yearly. The donations are hand-delivered to those in need as the surveys are taken.

The state of NM estimates that there are around 3,300 people currently in the throes of homelessness, with many more at risk. Let's do our part to help our unsheltered neighbors survive the harsh weather conditions this winter!

As far as donations go, we're looking for:

blankets
[unused] socks/undergarments
jackets
scarves
gloves
hand warmers
hats
non-perishable, lightweight snacks/food items
hygiene products
tents

Note: We will be closed Thanksgiving Day.
