8 YEARS AGO… I HAD NO IDEA. ✨🍦
Eight years ago, my sister dragged me to the Museum of Ice Cream in San Francisco. 😂
At the time, I didn’t even eat ice cream. I was vegan. So naturally I thought, “Well… why not?” 😂
But I had the BEST time. It was colorful, ridiculous, playful, and basically a photographer’s dream. And then I came across a wall that asked:
“What do you scream for?” 🍦
There were magnets everywhere. People chose love. Their spouses. Their families. All sorts of sweet things.
And without really thinking about it, I chose:
KINDNESS. 💕
Eight years later, I honestly think I’d put the exact same thing on that wall.
Because somehow, kindness has always been there. Long before Mrs. Sprinkles. Long before the parlor. Long before I could have ever imagined what ice cream would become in my life.
And now… LOOK AT ME. 😂🍦🌈
The girl who didn’t even eat ice cream somehow ended up owning an ice cream parlor. The girl who always loved sprinkles now has sprinkles basically everywhere. And that girl standing in that sprinkle pool had absolutely NO idea she’d one day be looking back at these photos thinking, “Wait… was this a little preview of my life?” 🥹
That sprinkle pool was EVERYTHING. I even went down a giant slide into a pool FULL of sprinkles. Truly, what more could a person ask for?! 😂🌈
And yes, I have ALWAYS loved sprinkles. I firmly believe sprinkles belong on nearly everything. 😂
Now, nearly a decade later, these pictures mean SO much more to me than they ever did that day.
Because sometimes life gives you these tiny little moments that don't seem important at the time… until years later when you realize they were part of the story all along. ❤️
And now next year I hope I’m heading to Las Vegas because they just opened a new Museum of Ice Cream there, and I CANNOT WAIT to recreate some of these photos nearly a decade later. 🍦✨
Although… I have one tiny complaint.
Their sprinkle pool is pink.
And I am a nostalgic rainbow sprinkle girl. 🌈😂
But I’ll allow it.
Here’s to full-circle moments, ridiculous amounts of sprinkles, and choosing kindness every single time. 💕🍦

💗🪨 URGENT COMMUNITY SERVICE REQUEST 🪨💗
Tonight, we came across the story of little Maddie in Kansas, who was diagnosed with rhabdomyosarcoma earlier this summer. She heads into her first surgery Tuesday. 💗
Her parents shared that painted rocks have brought Maddie so much joy, and she created her own special place called Maddie’s Garden. 🌸
Well… Mrs. Sprinkles & the Pink Bus saw her story, and our hearts said WE HAVE TO HELP. ❤️
Because community isn't just our neighborhood. Community is humanity. And kindness has no state line.
So we're bringing a little Albuquerque love to Kansas! 🌵➡️💗

A GIANT CONE has officially taken over Mrs. Sprinkles Ice Cream Parlor.
Her name?
THE CONE.
Because honestly… she doesn’t need anything else. 😂
She is approximately the size of our building, has claimed roughly 97% of our available space, and may have single-handedly eliminated seating.
But is she leaving?
ABSOLUTELY NOT.

A HUGE thank you to ABQ Toy Store for thinking of me and letting this magnificent girl come home! ❤️ They got her from a talented Albuquerque artist who originally created her for the windows of Anthropologie and now she has retired from high fashion and entered the glamorous world of ICE CREAM. 🍦✨
My staff and husband are currently processing this development.

🌈🐾 My heart is absolutely FULL tonight.
Our National Rainbow Bridge celebration was something I will never forget. The tears, the beautiful music, the reading, honoring our beloved pets, and seeing all of the precious photos our community sent in… it was truly magical. ❤️
And Sarah… YOU BLEW THIS ONE OUT OF THE PARK. 😭🌈 You poured so much love into tonight, and I don't think there was a dry eye anywhere. Thank you for creating such a beautiful way for us to remember and honor the animals who will forever live in our hearts.
To my community, my amazing staff, the vendors, my friends, our partners, and everyone who showed up and supported this dream -THANK YOU.
Mrs. Sprinkles wouldn't be what it is without YOU.
Tonight reminded me that love doesn't end at the Rainbow Bridge. It lives on in every memory, every photo, every story, and every tear. 🌈🐾
