🍒 A Message from the North East Fire Department

We understand that today's air quality has many people concerned, and we respect that everyone has different comfort levels. While the Cherry Festival remains open, we encourage everyone to make the decision that is best for themselves and their families.

The North East Firemen's Cherry Festival is the result of months of planning by hundreds of dedicated volunteers. Unfortunately, postponing or rescheduling the event is not an option, as our amusement provider, entertainment, food vendors, and other participating vendors are scheduled to depart following the conclusion of the festival on Saturday.

This festival is also the North East Fire Department's largest annual fundraiser and plays a critical role in funding our operations, training, equipment, and emergency response throughout the year. Your support directly helps the volunteer firefighters and EMS personnel who serve our community 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

If today's air quality makes you uncomfortable, we completely understand. We'd love to welcome you on Saturday, when you'll still be able to enjoy all the food, rides, games, entertainment, and traditions that make the Cherry Festival such a special community event.
