Today we're tipping our hats to the characters who bring energy, excitement, and school spirit to fans everywhere!
And here in Montana, it's hard not to think of one of the most recognizable mascots around...

From thrilling entrances and crowd-pumping antics to proudly waving the GRIZ flag, Monte has become a beloved symbol of GRIZ pride. In 2024, Monte was even honored as Mascot of the Year!

As the University of Montana fight song says:

💪🐻🚛 As I was heading home from work around 4:30 this afternoon, I came across this accident scene just outside of Alberton.

A customer who had come through our drive-thru earlier mentioned that the accident had happened not long before.

🙏♥️ We are certainly hoping and praying that everyone involved is okay and on the road to recovery. ❤️🙏

I have to admit, though, seeing Montana Highway Towing there gave me a little smile. 😊 All I could think was, "Recovery Randy is on the job!"

In all seriousness, we are SO thankful for the folks who step up when people need help the most. Whether it's first responders, tow operators, or others assisting at the scene, thank you for what you do! ♥️💯♥️

🎣📖 50 Years of a Montana Classic 📖🎣

This year marks the 50th Anniversary of "A River Runs Through It and Other Stories" by Norman Maclean.
First published in May 1976, this beloved collection introduced readers around the world to the beauty of Montana's rivers, landscapes, and way of life. Through themes of family, faith, fly fishing, and the bonds that connect us, the book has become one of Montana's most treasured literary works.

Perhaps its most famous line still resonates today:

"In our family, there was no clear line between religion and fly fishing."

For many Montanans, those words feel right at home.

Did you know? To celebrate the book's 50th Anniversary, Missoula Public Library, the Norman Maclean Literary Festival, and the University of Chicago Press are partnering for a community-wide reading event. Beginning tomorrow June 18, readers can pick up a free copy of the book at the Missoula Public Library while supplies last and join discussions about the themes, stories, and Montana connections found within its pages.

We expected coffee lovers, Lotus lovers, ice cream lovers, horse lovers riding up to the window, dog lovers bringing their pups, occasionally cat lovers bringing their kitty......
