❤️ FLOOD RELIEF UPDATE — EVERY LITTLE BIT HELPS ❤️
I wanted to give everyone an update on our flood relief efforts and, more importantly, remind everyone that we can all do something to help.
We have already been able to help a family with two additional nights in a hotel, and we have provided food, water, a sump pump, and other necessities to people who are trying to get through this devastating time.
But the need is still so great.
There are many of us who were fortunate enough not to be directly impacted. We still have our homes. We have food in our refrigerators, clothes on our backs, air conditioning, and a safe place to sleep.
So many others don’t have those things right now.
Some people have lost everything.
If you are able to donate, even $1 will help. ❤️
100% of the funds donated will go directly toward helping flood victims with necessities and emergency needs.
And if you can’t donate money, PLEASE consider donating your time.
Drive down to the Southside, Yorktown, Albany, or another area you know has been hit. Pull over. Ask someone:
“What can I do to help?”
Maybe they need help cleaning out a home. Maybe they need someone to carry something. Maybe they need food or water. Maybe they simply need someone to stand there and remind them that they aren’t alone.
These may seem like small acts of kindness, but right now, they can mean everything to someone who has lost so much.
It doesn’t matter who they are.
It doesn’t matter where they come from.
They are hurting. They are our neighbors. They need us.
If you can give a dollar, give a dollar.
If you can give an hour, give an hour.
If you can give supplies, give supplies.
If you can simply show up and help someone, please do it.
Let’s show our community what happens when people come together. ❤️
Every dollar. Every hour. Every helping hand matters.
🙏 Please share this so it reaches someone who can help.
