Friends and Family of Smitty’s Snowballs
It is with great sadness and a heavy heart we must announce the passing of Warren Smith aka Mr. Smitty who died peacefully this morning.
Smitty’s Snowballs has been going strong since 1993 because of the huge amount of time and effort spent by Mr. and Mrs. Smith. They worked 7 days a week in a tiny blue shack with no AC and no bathroom. They flooded out in 2016, losing everything causing them to move and rebuild. But through it all became a household Albany name in snowballs with parents now telling stories to thier children of how they used to walk up with thier school class to get a snowball just like they are doing now.
In honor of his life and all those he brought joy to over the years, we will be giving out a free snowball tomorrow (August 26th) with every purchase.
So to every customer we have had over these past 33 years, we love and appreciate you and hope that the Smitty name will carry on in Albany forever.
