As a child, owner Hanh Nguyen enjoyed the simple but fresh dishes such as Bún, Gỏi Cuốn, and Phở served to her right on the streets of Saigon. After the fall of South Vietnam in 1975, the Nguyen family struggled to find the same food here in America. In an endeavor to spread the Vietnamese culture, Hanh’s mother opened up one of the earliest Vietnamese restaurants here in America. Several years la

ter, the culinary tradition is still strong, and Sidestreet Pho comes to a full circle to offer the same delicious, authentic Vietnamese flavor in a modern environment.
