People ask us how we make such pretty firewood.

Well, this is a big part of how. We take care of our 50” saw blade that cuts out wood to length.

We have to take a trip to the “saw man” as he’s known in these parts. He’s the best in the business, as was his father before him.

In a remote workshop outside of Tuscaloosa, saws from just about every sawmill around this area take visits.

Hammer job. New teeth. New tips. All part of keeping equipment running fast and accurately.
