AKRON, CHEF CHUCK HAS SOMETHING TO SAY! 👨🏾‍🍳❤️

First, THANK YOU to everyone who came out and supported our return to downtown Akron at 69 Taps!

I know many of you are used to seeing me personally behind the stove, and believe me, I LOVE cooking for y'all! But this time, we're doing things a little differently.

Mick & Shirley's is GROWING!

As Executive Chef, I'm building and personally training a team to prepare the food you've come to know and love. I'll be working alongside them, teaching them our standards and making sure we continue delivering food that comforts the soul.

You may not see Chef Chuck in the kitchen every day, but my heart, my recipes and my commitment to quality will always be there.

We're building this one day at a time, and I'm asking my community to grow with us. Come support the team, give us your feedback and show them the same love you've always shown me.

And don't worry! Chef Chuck will still be in the kitchen, bringing you some of your favorite specialty dishes!

THURSDAY–SUNDAY | 8 AM–3 PM

📍 69 Taps — 370 Paul Williams St., Downtown Akron

We're not just reopening. We're building the next chapter of Mick & Shirley's, and I want YOU to be part of it!

Much love, Chef Chuck ❤️👨🏾‍🍳

❤️ THANK YOU, AKRON! ❤️

We just want to take a moment to say THANK YOU to everyone who came out and supported the Mick & Shirley’s Pop-Up at 69 Taps both Friday and Saturday!

Whether you grabbed some Chicken & French Toast, Shrimp & Grits, breakfast, coffee, or simply stopped through to show us some love — WE APPRECIATE YOU! 🙏🏾

It felt GOOD being back in the kitchen and serving the community again. Seeing familiar faces and meeting new ones made these two days special.

A huge thank you to Kameron Alexander and the 69 Taps family for opening the doors and giving Mick & Shirley’s the opportunity to serve Downtown Akron.

And to everybody asking what's next… 👀

STAY TUNED. ❤️🔥
