Like many small businesses, we’ve felt the impact of a challenging economy. After a lot of careful consideration, we’ve made the decision to close on Mondays and Tuesdays to preserve capital and focus on providing the best possible experience the rest of the week.

Small businesses survive because of the support of their communities, and we’re incredibly grateful for every breakfast shared, every kind review, and every person who chooses to spend their morning with us.

We’ll continue serving all your favorites Wednesday through Sunday, and look forward to seeing you as always! 🍀

The City of Akron is hosting a Blimp Day photo contest to celebrate the inaugural Blimp Day holiday on Saturday, June 6! 📷

To participate:

Take your best photo of one or both of the blimps on Saturday, June 6 for Blimp Day. Limit of 2 entries per account.

Post it on Facebook or Instagram. (If you don’t have social media or have a private account but want to be considered, send your photo via email to [email protected] with your information.)

Make sure to tag the City of Akron ( on Facebook and/or on Instagram).

Deadline to enter is Saturday, June 13.

There will be one grand prize winner who will receive an Akron prize package with Blimp and Akron merchandise!

Important note: No AI generated/altered images will be considered for the grand prize. And bonus points if your photo incorporates or includes a uniquely, recognizable Akron place in it!

Submitting photos grants the City of Akron permission to use tagged photos in future Blimp Day marketing with credit to the photographer.
