BENEFIT SHOW FOR A NEW GENERATOR!!!!

We were helping the houseless this last week and one sadly stole our generator out of desperation. We got it from the last benefit show so it would be amazing if you can come over with some cans and food! We need to stock up before winter. We have a 40,000 BTU heater we use off that generator during distos and picnics.

We have a partner now. They have local bus route jobs. They also give PPE and... The staff was amazing. They helped us get through the boarding. Boots.

Starts work monday. Sometimes all you need is a good pair a boots. You can do the rest yourself.

We got boots. We got food. We got work. Who is down to help the homeless get back on their feet with us? They might need training and patience. Yes before the negative comments some of them might be in a hole you think you can't lift em from but... I think we can. Mutual Aid.

First FNB working crew. You need work done? Let us know, and be patient we are overwhelmed right now. Maybe some other people can lift up and be patient with the peeps on the streets?

We went down there to grace park this sunday. I think we arrived just in time before the rain with a few extra tents and a roll of tape. And of course some warm food and coffee. Taught some people how to get a tent up. We need non exploitive recruiters to help people work. Because they want to. And they can. They might be weird, exhausted, and stressed (you would to). It is a side effect of living this way. Some might be there because of very simple things like not being able to see or walk or stand for a long time. I have not heard so many people ask for a job in my life. Do not take advantage of people. Be patient and lift them up to your level. Mutual Aid.

Hi, I'm Emily — a community organizer here in Akron, Ohio. I stand in solidarity with Dr. Hussam Abu Safia, a Palestinian pediatrician held by the Israeli military without charge, without evidence, and without a release date since December 2024.

Filled it up again for the Highland Square peeps and had a picnic. distibuted out cold water and Kool-Aid. Female hygiene products and harm reduction supplies. Highland square sunday. There are bars and shops and street vendors.
