Suze Moore and I started our first solstice event on the steps of the Curley School. Suze knew the art of kulning, an ancient herding call for the cows to come home. She began by walking down through the halls of the school and arriving at the entrance. (I so wish I had a video!)

Suze cant be with us this year, so i am honoring her and sending out this video, calling you all to come to the cafe to share a solstice moment in the longest night of the year.

Getting back in touch with the roaster in me… on Halloween.

Back in the day as a young woman, I remember liking to dress for Halloween, all in black, covering my identity with a lone ranger style mask. It made me feel strong, powerful and mysterious. Today I decided to dress in something familiar to those early days, to feel myself reconnect with the process of roasting coffee which has been at the heart of Curley Coffee since it started 10 years ago. There was magic in the air as a part of myself became alive again. Its been a great Halloween!

Good afternoon everyone!
It's that time of year again for us, our summer closure has arrived.
Thank you for the continued support Ajo! We are grateful for every single one of you!
Curley Coffee will be closed from July 2nd-September 2nd. We will reopen September 3rd, resuming our normal hours.
Don't forget our coffee beans are still available at Olsens IGA.
