I wanted to hop on here and give a little update.
As of now, we aren’t reopening anytime soon. Our focus right now is on clearing everything out so we can move forward with tearing the building down. Sadly, there’s no saving it.
This hasn’t been an easy process for us. We’re still grieving the cafe—it meant the world to my Nana. People will talk and say what they want, and that’s okay. But nothing could ever replace what the cafe was to us.
Every kind word and bit of love you’ve shared has not gone unnoticed. I read them all to my Nana, and they truly bring her joy.
My Nana and my late Grandpa Bob dreamt of building a place that brought people together—and that’s exactly what the cafe did.
Who knows what the future will bring. 🤍
