Six origins. Six pairings. An evening of discovery.
Join Roaming Road founder Mike Gilmore at Silver Girl for Terroir & Table: A Single Cask Rum Experience, presented with Silver Girl and Raising Glasses during Boston Rum Week.
Explore how place, climate, raw materials, and tradition shape each rum, with measured tastings paired with small bites inspired by the cuisine of each country of origin.
The evening’s pairings:
• 6 Year Martinique Rhum Agricole Welcome Cocktail — Creole Cheese Puff with Hot Pepper Jelly
• 18 Year Barbados Foursquare — Barbadian Avocado Salad
• 4 Year Ghana Pot Still Rum — Toasted Kelewele with Spiced Plantains and Crispy Shallots
• 17 Year Haiti Barbancourt Cane Juice Rum — Acadian Redfish Creole
• 18 Year Belize — Braised Belize Short Rib
• 17 Year Jamaica Hampden DOK — Pineapple Upside-Down Olive Oil Cake
You’ll be among the first in the country to experience three forthcoming Roaming Road releases: Ghana, Haiti, and Jamaica.
There are also a few surprises in store—including a very special guest bringing a bonus pour with a story of its own.
And word along the road is that another new Roaming Road expression may make an appearance—something a little further off the beaten path and certainly unexpected.
