Every once in a while I still get ambitious, so today I made 5 dozen SW Corn Cheese Buns. Hope someone will want them for their 4th of July BBQ!

Gram’s Kitchen will again be joining Toni up at the Abilene Farmers Market tomorrow morning. I just finished baking the herb Parmesan rolls (boy does the house smell terrific)! Also baked this morning, cracked wheat, maple oatmeal, & jalapeño cheese breads. We will also have a peach raspberry coffee cake & some root beer float cookies! Even took some pictures to help you imagine how tasty they are😋

For those who may be wondering what Gram has been up to during this crisis, I’m doing fine. I’ve been baking bread for the local “Neighbor 2 Neighbor” organization. They have been preparing & distributing meals for children and others who may need them during this crisis. It’s a great help in the community and urge others to find something to do to help those who may need it within your community. It certainly helps pass the time and you know you’re something with your time other than just sitting around.

Summer has finally arrived in all its glory (😜). This weekend I have set up at table at he “Cedar House” Greenhouse and have the following available for your enjoyment:
Herb Parmesan rolls, cracked wheat & cinnamon swirl yeast bread. Chocolate zucchini sweet bread, cranberry chip scones, strawberry rhubarb oatmeal bars, sour cream coffee cake & for cookies we have Ma’s sugar cookies, chocolate chip, peanut butter & oatmeal raisin. Also made up some garlic rusks, nacho rusks & garlic rye rusks. Hope to see everyone and do check out all the different plants that are available.

Guess we’re already for the 1st indoor Farmers Market to he held tomorrow at Portoff Hall in Cico Park. I have pumpkin apple & chocolate zucchini sweet breads. Sour cream coffee cakes, chocolate peanut butter granola bars & Grams special brownies. For cookies there are chocolate & caramel chip, pumpkin sugar cookies, monster cowboy, peanut butter, & oatmeal raisin. Yeast breads include cinnamon swirl, dried tomato basil, Swedish rye, rustic multi grain, maple oatmeal & jalapeño cheese breads. Jams & jellies as well. Hope to see you there!

Grams Kitchen is off to the last 2018 Farmers Market of Downtown Manhattan for the summer season. We will be holding the Market inside at Portoff Hall for the next few months. Be sure to stop by and pick up your calendar for the dates. This week I have cheesy garlic breadsticks, cinnamon swirl, herb Parmesan rolls, sourdough, SW corn cheese buns & whole wheat yeast breads. Sweet breads include old fashioned pumpkin & a cantaloupe bread. Cookies this week are pumpkin sugar, chocolate chip, monster cowboy, peanut butter, root beer float & snicker doodles. We have also a couple of granola bars, some rusks, & a strawberry rhubarb coffee cake as well as my filled pumpkin muffins. Will have treats for the kids! See you there!

All ready to head to Manhattan in the morning for “Sampler Saturday” at the Downtown Farmers Market of Manhattan. This week I’ve prepared: Cinnamon swirl, cracked wheat, dried tomato basil, herb Parmesan, jalapeño cheese & potato yeast breads. Sweet breads include sour cream banana with walnuts, harvest pumpkin and zucchini pineapple. I have 7 different kinds of cookies to include root beer float cookies. Also have sour cream coffee cakes and rusk. Hope to see you tomorrow!
