Just wanted to clarify something, as we have received several calls and messages asking if Gloria’s Grill is open. ❤️

For the time being, Gloria’s Grill will remain closed for the next six weeks while Gloria focuses on healing and recovering. Right now, our priority is getting Mom through these next several weeks and making sure she has everything she needs to recover and get stronger.

As soon as we have a definite reopening date, I promise I will share it here. We truly appreciate everyone’s patience, understanding, and continued support of our family and the restaurant during this time. ❤️

We have also had several people ask where they can send get-well cards, letters, or a little bit of love to Gloria while she is recovering. She would absolutely love hearing from everyone, so here is the address:

The outpouring of prayers, messages, calls, cards, and love over these past several days has meant more to our family than we could ever put into words. We are so incredibly grateful for each and every one of you who has checked on Mom, prayed for her, supported our family, and continues to cheer her on through this journey. ❤️🙏

We will continue to keep everyone updated as Mom’s recovery progresses. Thank you for loving our family and for continuing to keep Gloria in your prayers. ❤️

YAY!! Mom has officially been released from the hospital! 🎉

We got her moved and settled into her temporary home for the next six weeks, and we couldn’t be more thankful. ❤️

These past 72 hours have been incredibly stressful, but we made it through, and Mom is doing great! Thank you all so much for every prayer, message, well wish, and bit of love you’ve sent our way. It has truly meant more to our family than you know. 🙏🏼❤️

A special shout-out to Andy Rios and Tommy Rios for helping us get Mom settled in and making this transition a little easier. We appreciate you both so much!

We’ll continue to post updates weekly, or sooner if anything changes, and we’ll definitely let everyone know once she’s back home in Abilene.

And please, if you just want to check on her, feel free to message the page or reach out to any of us. We all know how much Mom LOVES to talk 😂❤️, so I’m sure she’ll be happy to hear from everyone!

Update #3

Sorry, I am just now posting an update It’s been a very long 24 hours with very little sleep, but thankfully, things are moving along GREAT! ❤️

Mom was moved out of the ICU this morning around 9:30 AM, and the new kidney is working exactly as it should! 🙏🏼 Gloria is wide awake, very alert, and in great spirits. Some of you may have even received a phone call from her today! 😂❤️

If everything continues to go as planned, she should be released from the hospital on Saturday and moved into her temporary home for the next six weeks while she continues her recovery.

With that being said, Gloria’s Grill will remain closed for the time being. I will keep everyone updated and let you know as soon as we have a date for reopening.

Thank you all so much for the calls, texts, prayers, and well wishes. We are incredibly grateful for every single one of you. ❤️🙏🏼

Please continue to keep Gloria in your prayers as she begins this next chapter of her recovery. We still have a road ahead of us, but we are so thankful for how well everything is going so far. 🙏🏼❤️

Gloria is out of surgery! ❤️🙏 Everything went well, and she is in very high spirits! 😊

We are so incredibly thankful and blessed for all the prayers and well wishes. Please continue to keep Gloria in your prayers as she begins her recovery.

❤️ Gloria’s Grill Family Update ❤️

Hello everyone! We just wanted to let y’all know that Gloria’s Grill will be closed for a little while.

Gloria finally got the call we’ve been praying for—she received a kidney today! 🙏🏼❤️ She is currently in surgery as we speak.

We are so incredibly grateful for this blessing and for the gift of life that someone’s selfless decision has made possible for Gloria. We ask that you please continue to keep Gloria, our family, her doctors, and everyone involved in your prayers as she begins this next chapter of her journey.

Thank you all for your continued love, prayers, support, and understanding. It means more to our family than we could ever put into words. ❤️
