Starbucks Lemon Loaf Recipe
If you love the moist, tangy goodness of Starbucks' Lemon Loaf, here's a step-by-step recipe to make your own at home! Perfect for breakfast, a snack, or even as a treat for guests.
Ingredients:
For the cake:
1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
1 ½ tsp baking powder
½ tsp baking soda
¼ tsp salt
2 large eggs
1 cup granulated sugar
½ cup unsalted butter (softened)
¼ cup sour cream
½ cup buttermilk
2 tbsp lemon zest (about 2 lemons)
2 tbsp freshly squeezed lemon juice
1 tsp vanilla extract
For the glaze:
1 cup powdered sugar
2 tbsp freshly squeezed lemon juice
Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9x5-inch loaf pan or line it with parchment paper.
Mix dry ingredients: In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
Cream butter and sugar: In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened butter and sugar together until light and fluffy (about 3-4 minutes).
Add eggs and wet ingredients: Beat in the eggs, one at a time, making sure each one is well incorporated. Add the sour cream, buttermilk, lemon zest, lemon juice, and vanilla extract, mixing until smooth.
Combine wet and dry ingredients: Gradually fold in the dry ingredients, mixing gently until combined. Do not overmix.
Bake the loaf: Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan. Bake for 55-65 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Cool the loaf: Remove the loaf from the oven and let it cool in the pan for about 10 minutes. Then transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely.
Make the glaze: In a small bowl, whisk together the powdered sugar and lemon juice until smooth. Drizzle the glaze over the cooled lemon loaf.

Cheeseburger Egg Rolls
Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef
1/2 cup onion, finely chopped
1 tablespoon ketchup
1 tablespoon mustard
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
12 egg roll wrappers
Vegetable oil for frying
Instructions:
Cook the ground beef:
In a large skillet, cook the ground beef and chopped onions over medium heat until the beef is browned and fully cooked, breaking the beef apart as it cooks. Drain any excess grease.
Add seasonings:
Stir in ketchup, mustard, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes. Remove from heat and let the mixture cool slightly.
Add the cheese:
Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese until it melts into the beef mixture. Set the mixture aside to cool.
Assemble the egg rolls:
Place an egg roll wrapper on a clean surface, with one corner pointing towards you. Spoon about 2 tablespoons of the cheeseburger mixture in the center of the wrapper. Fold the sides in and then roll tightly, sealing the edge with a little water.
Heat the oil:
Heat vegetable oil in a deep skillet or fryer over medium-high heat. The oil should be about 350°F (175°C).
Fry the egg rolls:
Carefully place the egg rolls in the hot oil, cooking them in batches if necessary. Fry for 3-4 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy on all sides. Remove and drain on paper towels.

Old-Fashioned Chocolate Fudge
Craving something sweet? 🍫 Whip up this Old-Fashioned Chocolate Fudge for a rich, creamy treat that melts in your mouth! Perfect for holidays, parties, or a self-indulgent snack. 💝
Ingredients:
2 cups white sugar
1/2 cup cocoa powder
1 cup whole milk
4 tablespoons unsalted butter
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Directions:
1:Grease an 8x8-inch pan or line it with parchment paper for easy removal.
2:In a medium saucepan, combine the sugar, cocoa powder, and milk. Mix well to dissolve the cocoa.
3:Place the saucepan over medium heat and stir occasionally until the mixture reaches a rolling boil.
4:Reduce heat to medium-low and simmer without stirring until the mixture reaches 234°F (112°C) on a candy thermometer. This ensures the fudge sets properly.
5:Remove the saucepan from heat and add the butter and vanilla extract. Do not stir. Allow the mixture to cool to 110°F (43°C), undisturbed, which takes about 30 minutes.
6:Once cooled, beat the mixture vigorously with a wooden spoon until it begins to lose its glossy finish and thickens slightly, about 7-10 minutes.
7:Quickly pour the fudge into the prepared pan, spreading it evenly.
8:Allow the fudge to cool completely at room temperature before cutting into squares.

Salmon bowl with cilantro lime rice, avocado and tomato salsa and a hard boiled egg over mixed greens.
For the salmon, pat dry and place a piece of salmon over lemon slices on a sheet pan. Season with black pepper, garlic powder and a drizzle of olive oil. Bake or air fry on 425 F for 15 minutes until cooked through.
For the cilantro lime rice, add two cups cooked brown or white rice to a bowl. (I used precooked microwaveable brown rice from a packet). Toss with fresh lime juice, fresh chopped cilantro and season with salt and pepper.
For the avocado and tomato salsa add diced tomato and avocado to a bowl with chopped red onion. Add a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil, a splash of red wine vinegar (or lime juice) and season with salt and pepper. Mix gently to combine.
