The beachfront is a short walk from the premises and is home to some of the best beaches on the island. Unlike in the East and West, the North of Zanzibar benefits from low tidal differences making it possible to swim, snorkel and enjoy water sports, including diving, all day long - many of the best dive sites are located in this area. HIGHLAND has a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere and is set in

a spacious garden surrounded by trees & flowers, making it popular with locals and visitors alike. Accommodations are split over three bungalows consisting of a total of five double bedrooms, each with ensuite bathroom and are offered at very competitive prices between $15 to $30 per room per night. The restaurant serves BBQ, local and international dishes from early morning until late at night. The open plan bar has a pleasant and airy feel where you can enjoy cold drinks and cocktails. Sports fans can follow their favourite games on screens, play a game of pool on one of the pool tables and every night a live DJ provides music for a good time on the dance floor. The bar regularly hosts live music shows and every Wednesday a reggae night. If you prefer a more exclusive setting visit the VIP Sky Lounge on the first floor, perfect for watching the sunset and winding down after a day on the beach. HIGHLAND provides for all different kind of tastes and the team would be happy to welcome you and ensure you will have a great time on Zanzibar.
