Hassan joined our team in 2016, and for the past 10 years he has been an essential part of our journey—the very same 10 years we are celebrating this year. We have grown together, overcoming challenges, celebrating milestones, and creating unforgettable dining experiences.

Every dish that leaves his station reflects his passion, dedication, and commitment to quality. From our very first days in Nungwi to the restaurant we are today, Hassan has helped shape the Mama Mia story.

This anniversary isn't just about Mama Mia—it's about the incredible people who have made it possible.

10 years ago, we brought a piece of our Italian heritage to this beautiful island and instantly fell in love.

Today, our hearts are full of gratitude for the incredible team who has stood by us every single day, for the guests who arrived as strangers and left as family, and for everyone who has been part of our journey since day one.
