Mama Pierina Restaurant & Annex Established in 1969 by my late mum 'Mama Pierina', this family owned and run business is almost a landmark in itself in Morogorro.

You can expect wonderfully friendly Greek/Italian hospitality and the cuisine is influenced by Tanzanian flavors too.

Welcome to mama PIERINA’S ,we have rooms with AC , mosquito nets , hot and cold water and a couple of basic rooms with fans too . We have a nice little restaurant . Our prices are very reasonable and a nice garden where you can sit and enjoy the view of the uluguru mountains while having a drink

I would like to inform everyone that I have given up the original restaurant and moved behind to where the rooms are located. The entrance is on the same side as before only its a different gate which is next to the old gate ( there is a Board next to the gate saying MAMA PIERINA RESTAURANT @ ANNEX)
This has been a sad time as it has been in the family for roughly 50 years but I am excited for this new chapter.
As you can see in the new photos that I have put up, I have constructed a kitchen and a restaurant and a newly thatched banda where you can chill and enjoy a cup of coffee or sun-downer whilst admiring the beautiful Uluguru mountains.
Although a lot has changed from the outside, the core value of this business remains the same and we will endeavor to make new happy memories together
