THE IMPORTANCE OF DAILY PREPARATION FOR A GOSPEL MINISTER.

1. FOR ANY GOSPEL MINISTER, MINISTRY IS NOT AN EVENT, BUT A LIFE.
You may think that ministry is when you are invited, or holding a microphone in front of people, but there is more to it than that. Every opportunity you get to stand in front of anyone is an opportunity to represent Jesus to that person, that alone will determine whether Jesus is glorified or reviled because of you.
John 9:4-5 "We must work the works of him who sent me while it is day; the night is coming when no one can work. As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world."

2. MINISTRY IS TO INFECT YOUR LIFE.
Anything you do not live, you should not teach. The entire time before a ministry event is a time to gather the life that you will infect the people you meet in one day. If your investment in Holiness, fellowship with the Word is small, you will not be able to give people any results. John 6:63 "It is the Spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I have spoken unto you, they are spirit, and they are life."

3. THE EFFECTIVENESS OF THE RESULTS OF MINISTRY ARE THE PRODUCT OF A CONTINUOUS LIFE OF COMMUNION WITH GOD IN MYSTERY.
The life you live every day in secret is what will determine whether God will go with you or be alone. God is not attracted to the events we call preparation for ministry, but a life that is offered to God, a life that is always alive. A MINISTER WITHOUT a continuous secret life will blaspheme the name of Jesus publicly, whether knowingly or unknowingly.
Acts 6:4 "and we will continue in prayer and in the ministry of the Word"

4. THE PREPAREDNESS OF THE GOSPEL MINISTER THAT HE HAS EVERYDAY, IS A WEAPON THAT WILL GIVE HIM OVERCOMING OR BEING OVERCOMING AGAINST THE ENEMY.
Even if you do not have a ministry experience, you must be a person in readiness, otherwise the devil will use you. In the Spirit world there is no Neutral (or middle), if you have not touched the lives of those you meet with Light then you have unknowingly put them in darkness.
Ephesians 6:15 "and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace;"
2 Timothy 4:2 "preach the word, be ready in season and out of season, reprove, rebuke, and exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine."

5. EVERY TIME FOR A GOSPEL MINISTER IS A TIME TO FEED (STAY WITH GOD) OR TO SERVE PEOPLE'S LIVES.
One of the understandings that ministers need is that ministry has no vacation. As long as you are a minister you must know that if you do not feed yourself during the time that you are not serving, then what you are doing can tear you down and reduce your effectiveness or that of others.
Any minister of the gospel has two jobs: To stay with God, and secondly to serve (sharing life).
If you don't believe this, everything you do must be for your own edification or for the edification of others for the kingdom of God AND only this can take us far as ministers.
Acts 6:4 "and we will devote ourselves to prayer and to the ministry of the Word."

2ND MEANING OF PRAYER

Prayer is a way to give the word the legitimacy to work in your life. (It is allowing the word to do its work)

“Prayer is giving God (the Word) permission to do things in the world, and not praying is preventing God (the Word) from doing things in the world. He who does not pray is an opponent of God’s work).”~Bishop Dickson Cornel Kabigumila

God usually sends His Word to save us, to deliver us from destruction, and to fulfill God’s will for us.

The Word knows what God’s will is and if you know what it was sent for, you have the authority to allow it to work in you or not.

Matthew 6:10 Your kingdom come. YOUR WILL BE DONE ON EARTH as it is in heaven.

One day I received news that my mother was sick. I decided to pray for her but she did not recover. A few hours later at night before going to bed I asked the Holy Spirit about my mother’s health.

While I was sleeping for about seven hours, the Holy Spirit gave me a Word from Jeremiah 33:3 which says “Call to me and I will answer you, and I will show you great and mighty things, which you do not know.”

Personally, I knew clearly that the Word carried God’s will for healing for my mother, so that same night I woke up and began to confess the scripture in my prayer, I did not even have many words to pray but I just confessed the scripture “Call to me and I will answer you, and I will show you great and mighty things, which you do not know.”

Later, when it was morning, I called her to ask how she was doing, she told me that she was well, I asked her about the time she recovered and she replied that she woke up completely well, personally I had no doubt and I knew that the time I was praying she was healed.

John 4:50 Jesus said to her, Go; your son lives. The man believed the word that Jesus had spoken to him, and he went his way. 51 As he was going down, his servants met him, saying, “Your son lives.” 52 So he asked them the hour when he began to get better; and they said to him, “Yesterday at the seventh hour the fever left him.” 53 So the father knew that it was the very hour at which Jesus had said to him, ‘Your son lives.’ And he believed, and so did his whole household.

However, when the Word comes into your heart, when you study, read the Bible, meditate, and listen, it always carries a certain Will of God that God sent to fulfill, if you know it (if you understand it) you have the right to allow it to be fulfilled in you through prayer or not.

So it is clear that receiving the Word without praying is a sign of not understanding and believing it.

iWhat is the meaning of prayer?

There are many interpretations of prayer, but personally through the scriptures when I examined them in depth I have discovered,

¹prayer is to invite God's involvement in our affairs, through speaking according to his promises. (Psalm 119:154, 119:58)

²Prayer, is to submit and put all things under God so that he can be the judge over it by speaking according to his will. (Daniel 10:12, Zephaniah 2:3, Ezra 9:52 Chronicles 33:12-13.)

³Prayer is sacrificing your time, body, and soul, in order to bring about a change in things or to bring about new things through talking to God. (Hebrews 5:7)

⁴Prayer is Entering the world of the Spirit with words based on God's promises, in order to change the conditions of things in the body or spirit according to God's perfect will.

• Prayer is not just a statement to God as many think. They may be like information but the depth of prayer has absolutely nothing to do with informing God. God is the same, yesterday and forever. He is the one who knows all the secret and open things, and it doesn't bother him to know what our needs are.
And for that criterion, you must know..

• You do not use prayers to inform God of your needs, because He knows your needs even before you ask Him.
Matthew 6:8 is written, "...your Father knows what you need before you ask him."
The question here is, if he knows what we need, why doesn't he just give it to us without asking?

I think you have already asked yourself or asked me that question...
"Now what prevents God from giving us needs despite knowing them, is exactly the meaning of Prayer.

• So if your way of informing God, if it doesn't remove, what prevented him from giving you your needs that he knows, be sure you haven't asked yet and you won't get results.

• And if we look at the prayers without thinking that they are just information, there are more levels of prayers that we will witness along with their results.
And what makes prayers not just information,
