Kahawa - Fair Trade Coffee Kahawa - Fair Trade Coffee Tanzania. The coffee is grown and roasted on the slopes of Mt. Meru, Tanzania. "Kahawa" means coffee in swahili.

"Kahawa" means "coffee" in swahili. Kahawa sells Fair Trade and organic coffee grown on the altitude of 1.600 meter on Mt.Meru, Tanzania. The mountain is a sleeping volcano and the soil is very fertile and good for coffee growing. We buy arabica coffee beans from the 27 families of Aranga Coffee Group, who are getting 3 times more for the coffee than the average price in Tanzania. The coffee is ro

asted and packed locally in our small factory in the village, which is environmentally friendly and create jobs for the villagers. We can send freshly roasted coffee all over the world. Kahwa is a brand under Wild Tracks, a Tanzanian-Norwegian safari company. Wild Tracks arrange safaris and holidays in Tanzania, from classic African safaris and Kilimanjaro trekkings to relaxing holidays in Zanzibar.
