Turkey rules: the count back system

In possession of a resident permit (RP)
On re-entry Turkey they count back one year. If you’ve been out of Turkey for more than 120 days during that year, your RP will be cancelled. You can apply for a new RP (once a year) but during the application time your SGK-insurance is on hold.

In possession of a (e)visa
On leaving Turkey they count back 180 days. If you’ve been in Turkey for more than 90 days during that period, you will be fined.

Hello friends,

Both Taffy and I have been in and out of hospital. Now the restaurant is closed we have time to recuperate.
We want to thank everybody for their support this season and we hope you enjoyed it.
