Breakfast at Sign arrives across the whole table, not on one plate.

Plates go down until there is no marble left to see: cheese with walnut and dried apricot, potatoes with pastırma, fried eggs, and simit straight from the oven. The tea glass is refilled as it empties, and nobody is in a hurry to leave.
