Sticky Teriyaki Butter Meatballs ๐ฏ๐ Sweet, savory, and totally irresistible!
Total time: 35 minutes
Prep time: 15 minutes, Cook time: 20 minutes
Ingredients for 4 servings:
1 lb ground chicken
1/3 cup panko breadcrumbs
1 egg
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp grated ginger
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
1 tbsp vegetable oil
2 tbsp unsalted butter
1/4 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup honey
2 tbsp rice vinegar
1 tbsp brown sugar
1 tsp sesame oil
1 tbsp cornstarch
2 tbsp water
2 green onions, sliced
1 tbsp toasted sesame seeds
Cooked white rice, for serving
Step 1/4
1 lb ground chicken - 1/3 cup panko breadcrumbs - 1 egg - 1 clove garlic - 1 tsp grated ginger - 1/2 tsp salt - 1/4 tsp black pepper.
Preheat oven to 400ยฐF. In a bowl, mix ground chicken, panko, egg, garlic, ginger, salt, and pepper. Form into small meatballs.

1 tbsp vegetable oil.
Heat oil in a large ovenproof skillet over medium heat. Add meatballs and cook until browned on all sides, about 5โ6 minutes. Transfer skillet to oven and bake for 8โ10 minutes until fully cooked.

2 tbsp unsalted butter - 2 cloves garlic - 1/4 cup soy sauce - 1/4 cup honey - 2 tbsp rice vinegar - 1 tbsp brown sugar - 1 tsp sesame oil - 1 tbsp cornstarch - 2 tbsp water.
In a saucepan over medium heat, melt butter and sautรฉ garlic. Add soy sauce, honey, vinegar, sugar, and sesame oil. Whisk cornstarch and water in a small bowl, then stir into sauce. Simmer until thick and glossy, about 3โ4 minutes.
Step 4/4
2 green onions - 1 tbsp toasted sesame seeds - Cooked white rice.
Toss baked meatballs in the sauce until coated. Serve over hot rice topped with green onions and sesame seeds.
