Every day, small crabs and other sea creatures get trapped in local fishing nets. Luckily, Uncle Juk and his team of volunteers are there to care for them until they’re ready to return to the sea. They also help protect blue crab eggs, giving tiny new lives the chance to begin where they belong.
Come along at 9 A.M. and help release them back into the sea. It’s free, fun, and a lovely way to play a small part in protecting Hua Hin’s marine life.
ทุกวัน มีลูกปูม้าและสัตว์ทะเลที่ยังโตไม่เต็มวัยติดมากับอวนชาวประมง สัตว์ตัวน้อยเหล่านี้ไม่สามารถนำไปขายได้ แต่หากปล่อยไว้ก็จะตาย ธนาคารปูม้าบ้านเขาตะเกียบที่มี “ลุงจุก” เป็นอาสาสมัคร จึงนำสัตว์ทะเลเหล่านี้มาดูแลจนแข็งแรง เช่นเดียวกับไข่จากแม่ปูที่ไข่นอกกระดองก็จะถูกนำมาอนุบาลจนฟักเป็นตัว ก่อนปล่อยพวกเขากลับสู่ทะเลอีกครั้ง
กิจกรรมปล่อยลูกปูม้าและสัตว์ทะเลตัวน้อยจัดขึ้นทุกวัน เวลา 9:00 น. ที่ เขาตะเกียบ ซอย 1 (บริเวณศาลาแปดเหลี่ยม) โดยไม่มีค่าใช้จ่าย

Our little squid isn’t just a welcome gift. It’s a little piece of Hua Hin.
Created by Khomapastr, a local name with a history dating back to 1948, our squid friend comes from a tradition of hand-printed fabrics that has helped give the town its very distinctive character.
If you like the little fellow we decor in every room, pop along and visit the people who made him.
