ตุลาคม…อีกบทหนึ่งของบ้านริมทะเล
หลังสายฝนของเดือนกันยายน ทางเดินใต้ร่มไม้ดูชุ่มเย็นขึ้นอีกนิด เสียงคลื่นจากหาดเขาเต่ายังคงดังมาเป็นระยะ และเมื่อถึงยามบ่าย บนโต๊ะก็มีของว่างรอให้ใครสักคนนั่งลง ใช้เวลากับมันอย่างไม่เร่งรีบ
บ้านริมทะเลหลังนี้มีเรื่องเล่าอยู่ในรายละเอียดเหล่านั้น ทั้งในมุมที่ชวนให้นึกถึงวันวาน ในรสชาติที่ปรุงขึ้นด้วยความใส่ใจ และในความรู้สึกคุ้นเคยเมื่อได้กลับมาเยือนอีกครั้ง
เดือนตุลาคมปีนี้ จรัสภาวันฉลองครบรอบ 4 ปีของการเปิดบ้านต้อนรับแขกผู้มาเยือน ความทรงจำของบ้านจึงค่อย ๆ มีเรื่องราวของผู้คนที่มาพักผ่อนร่วมอยู่ด้วย ทั้งบทสนทนาบนโต๊ะอาหาร วันเงียบ ๆ ริมทะเล และช่วงเวลาเล็กน้อยที่ยังนึกถึงเมื่อกลับไป
ยามบ่ายที่ห้องอาหารปวันในเดือนนี้ จึงมีความตั้งใจเล็ก ๆ เพิ่มขึ้นบนโต๊ะ ของว่างไทยทั้งคาวและหวานถูกจัดเตรียมไว้เคียงเครื่องดื่ม พร้อมเสียงเพลงจากเครื่องเล่นแผ่นเสียงที่ค่อย ๆ บรรเลงอยู่ใกล้ ๆ เราเรียกช่วงเวลานี้ว่า An Afternoon to Remember เป็นน้ำใจจากเจ้าของบ้านที่มอบให้กับแขกผู้มาพักทุกท่านในเดือนแห่งการครบรอบ ด้วยความยินดีที่ได้ใช้เวลาอีกช่วงหนึ่งร่วมกัน
ระหว่างรสชาติบนโต๊ะ เสียงเพลงที่ชวนให้นึกถึงวันวาน และใครสักคนที่นั่งอยู่ข้างกัน ยามบ่ายธรรมดาวันนั้น อาจกลายเป็นอีกหนึ่งความทรงจำที่อยากจะเก็บกลับไป
ตุลาคมนี้ ลองเว้นที่ว่างในปฏิทินให้กับวันพักผ่อนริมทะเลสักหน่อย บ้านหลังนี้ยังมีมุมสงบให้นั่งอ่านหนังสือเล่มโปรด มีชายหาดให้เดินเล่น และมียามบ่ายให้ค่อย ๆ ใช้เวลากับคนที่มาด้วยกัน

After September’s rain, the shaded paths feel a little cooler. Waves along Khao Tao Beach can still be heard from time to time, and by afternoon, a few delicacies await at the table—an invitation to sit awhile and savour the moment.

This October, 𝗖𝗛𝗔𝗥𝗥𝗔𝗦 𝗕𝗵𝗮𝘄𝗮𝗻 marks four years of welcoming guests into its home. Their stories have gently become part of its own—conversations over dinner, quiet days beside the sea, and small moments remembered long after departure.
