Welcome to hausparty 1.0, The first gathering 🫶🏻 Once a month, haus VE/LA will open its doors to a few homegrown brands from across the city, all under one roof and in one home. Think of it as a very good excuse to wander in on a Sunday and not leave for a while.

For our first gathering, the line up looks like this: VE/LA, pouring london and singapore’s city exclusives ☕ hardcopy, taking polaroids 📸 Petal Carta, with a flower arrangement corner 🪷

Bring a friend, bring someone you’ve been meaning to catch up with, or come alone and make a few new ones. There will be good drinks, good light and flowers everywhere you look.

Wait, is that a latte with toast on top? Yes. Yes it is 🍞🥥

We took the breakfast everyone in Singapore already loves, kaya toast with its sweet pandan jam, salty egg and crisp edges, and asked what it would taste like iced, in a VE/LA cup. The answer is a Dusk Latte with pandan kaya jam at the bottom, coconut and jasmine infused cream in the middle, a salted egg drizzle through the milk, and baked brioche cubes on top.

Best enjoyed in the morning, the afternoon, or whenever the day needs a small plot twist.

Two seasonal menus, one autumn love story 🍁 VE/LA and Kaew Boutique imagined a season Bangkok never quite gets to have, bringing together our coffee and matcha with the familiar sweetness of Thai desserts.

Bringing together two little autumn rituals, one from each side of the table :

Autumn in Bangkok Matcha 🍁🍵 Bangkok has three seasons and autumn was never one of them. So we poured our own together with Kaew Boutique แก้วบูทีค

Sundown Matcha Cream, infused with maple and chestnut, resting on coconut water with young coconut. Finished with pandan dust and a crumble of coconut roll feuilletine from our friends at Kaew Boutique.

Best had under the sun, somewhere around golden hour, with nowhere in particular to be.

Goodnight, a little earlier this month 🌃 From 1 to 31 October, VE/LA Changi Airport will run reduced hours, opening from 7am to 11pm. Full 24-hour service returns on 1 November.

Singapore has welcomed us with far more love than we expected. To keep every cup as it should be, we’re taking a few hours each night to rest, reset and begin again.

We can’t thank you enough for the continuous queues, the late-night orders and the kind words.

Shorter days this October.
