iTQi (International Taste & Quality Institute), located in Brussels, Belgium, evaluates food and drinks from all over the world and awards them.

Michelin in the food world

iTQi is an award given specifically to processed products such as food and drinks. Like various film festivals, professional film critics will be invited to judge. iTQi invites 15 prestigious European associations of catering, cooking and wine tasting experts to select chefs and sommeliers to conduct blind test scores.

Nearly 2,000 products and drinks from 120 countries were tasted and scored by judges of different nationalities. During the process, there was no comparison with other products, and the judges did not have the opportunity to talk to each other. Score according to appearance, aroma, taste, texture, aftertaste, etc.

Those who get a total score of 90% or more (assuming a full score of 100, those who get 90 or more points) will be awarded the Superior Taste Award (excellent flavor medal) three-star delicious; those who get the total score of 80%~90% will be awarded the Superior Taste Award (Excellent Flavor Medal) two-star delicacy; those with a total score of 70% to 80% will be awarded a Superior Taste Award (Excellent Flavor Medal) one-star delicacy. Below 70% there will be no prize.

If you receive three-star superior award for three consecutive years, you will be awarded the Crystal Taste Award . If you being awarded for consecutive seven years three stars superior award within ten years, you will be awarded the Diamond Taste Award.
