In 2023, I took a beautiful trip to Laos, where local farmers introduced me to rare Liberica coffee and traditional Kopi Luwak. Some of them belonged to the Katu people, an animist ethnic minority whose main source of income is agriculture. Their coffee grows in rich volcanic soil on the mystic Bolaven Plateau.
Since then, we proudly roast and brew Bolaven Plateau coffee at Paupau Cafe ☕
