Thai cuisine and specialties from Northern Thailand The Hill Tribe Restaurant was opened on October 10, 2008. Khun San is an excellent and experienced cook.

Its owner, Khun San, comes from the area of Chiang Rai in the north of Thailand.

* So far it has been the first restaurant in Khao Lak area to offer dishes from Northern Thailand. For many years he was the chef in restaurants in Phuket and at the Khao Lak well known restaurants Baan Suan and Takjang.

* With his famous creations like Seafood Hot Plate, Lemon Chicken, Spicy Banana Flower Salad or

North Thai Sticky Rice with Mango he has won the most demanding palates of many customers. Khun San is looking forward to your visit at the Hill Tribe Restaurant.

On the road again....Packed up everything, loaded the van and off we are direction Chiang Rai. We were lucky as shortly after we left, Province Phang Nga was closed. We would have been stuck!!!

Dear Guests, Friends and Followers!
Having survived tsunami we have never thought a worse moment in our lives will ever happen. And yet....
Please note: Hill Tribe restaurant has been closed due to the virus spreading all over and the business loss is so big that we are not sure if we will open it again in the future.

Please stay connected via FB. Should we reopen again, we will let you know.
