Fresh crop drop #3 🇪🇹

This season, Ethiopia really delivered.

During this year's cupping sessions, we came across several lots that immediately stood out. Two of our favourites have now landed on the shelf.

☕ Ethiopia Chelchele Supernatural*

Grown in Banko Chelchele village, Gedeb Woreda, Gedeo Zone, Southern Ethiopia.

*This lot undergoes a Super Natural process: the whole coffee cherries are fermented for 36–48 hours, then slowly dried for 27–30 days. The extended drying time allows the fruit character to develop beautifully, resulting in an incredibly expressive and juicy cup.

Primary flavour notes:

🫐 Blackberry • Blueberry muffin • Pomegranate • Black grape • Dark cherry • Violet • Dark chocolate

☕ Ethiopia Chelbesa Washed – Dry Fermentation

Chelbesa, also in Gedeb, is one of Ethiopia's most renowned coffee-growing areas. For this lot, the coffee is "dry fermented"—meaning the coffee ferments in tanks without water before being dried on raised beds for 10–15 days.

Primary flavour notes:
🍑 Peach • Black tea • Bergamot • Lemonade • Jasmine • Brown sugar

Two different processes. Two completely different expressions of Ethiopian coffee.

Fresh crop drop #2 🇰🇪

If you ask me what my favorite coffee is, I'll often answer: Kenya.

There's just something about a great Kenyan coffee—the vibrant acidity, incredible sweetness, and complexity that keep me buying many boxesevery season. :)

And this year's Kenya Nguguini AA is no exception. 💚

Founded in 1958, Ngugu-ini Wet Mill is part of the Kibirigwi Farmers' Cooperative Society in Karatina, Kirinyaga County, one of Kenya's most respected coffee-growing regions.

The region's rich volcanic soils, cool climate, and generations of coffee-growing experience create the perfect conditions for producing beautifully vibrant Kenyan coffees.

Primary flavour notes:
🍋 Lemon panna cotta
🍓 Raspberry
🍦 Vanilla
🍫 Dark chocolate

Bright, elegant acidity meets silky sweetness, making this another fresh crop we're incredibly excited to share.

Fresh crop drop 🇺🇬

Meet our new Uganda Namugowa – Coffee Cherry Fermentation.

This coffee comes from the team at The Coffee Gardens, who specialize in sourcing exceptional microlots from local producers across Uganda. This is already our third year working with them, and every season they continue to impress us with outstanding coffees and innovative fermentation techniques.

Coffee Cherry Fermentation is a unique variation of the washed process. Before depulping, the whole coffee cherries undergo a carefully controlled fermentation, typically guided by selected yeast cultures. The result is a clean, vibrant cup with remarkable sweetness and complexity.

Flavor notes:
🍓 Strawberry
🍑 Fermented plum
🍫 Cacao
🌿 Tamarind
🍯 Brown sugar

Hudobný večer a Open Mic — časť 2 🎤✨

Úprimne, nemáme slov… Ste neuveriteľní. Takí talentovaní, veselí a otvorení ľudia, že pre vás chceme toto podujatie organizovať znova a znova 💙

Ďakujeme každému, kto vystúpil na pódiu, podporoval ostatných, počúval alebo jednoducho bol s nami počas tohto večera. Práve vy robíte toto podujatie výnimočným. 💕

A áno… už premýšľame nad ďalším 👀
