Ibrik coffee- one of the oldest coffee brewing methods in the world. Traditionally spiced. Very full bodied. Boiled in hot sand from a container where water and very fine coffee is mixed. Boiled twice, settled and strained to be enjoyed.

Drinking in the rich culture that existed here from 850AD. Meanwhile Europe's coffee scene only got moving 600years after. Meaning a drink steeped in tradition.

We believe in understanding the past, history and tradition to better connect with the regions where our coffee comes from. It makes us better roasters and consumers.

This is a new Nicaraguan washed coffee.
Our head roaster has been drinking this daily for a while now. Silky mouth feel with a maple syrup like after taste.

"Tastes like if Scandinavia was a flavour" was an odd review but we like it.

The colder you are the better it tastes. So enjoy the Svalbard nature as the sun melts the remaining snow.

We have just finished roasting the last batch sadly and it hit the longyearbyen shops today.

A buttery and enjoyable cup for hunting aurora!

On the hunt for more now.....we are roasters more than photographers 😅
