The restaurant “Na Burji” is located at the very foothill of the Slovenian Istra, in a pleasant and blissful Istrian village Nova vas, in the municipality of Piran. The restaurant is a real temple of Istrian culture and gastronomy. The special warm, homelike atmosphere, epitomized by the villagers at evening gatherings while playing cards, the exhibited antiquities of Chef’s collection, which depict the customs and life of ancient villagers, escorts us to near and distant past of this blissful hinterland environment. The friendly family personnel – Oriella, Moreno, Meta and others, with a modest and accurate service make a gentle way towards an unforgettable and unique experience of the ancient Istrian gastronomic heritage.
