Ruth's Chris Steak House was founded in New Orleans, Louisiana, in 1965 by a single-mother of two sons. Wanting a better life for her sons and herself, she purchased "Chris" steakhouse, which has been operating for the past 38 years. Today, there are 130 outlets across the globe, which includes seven outlets in Asia: Singapore, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Tokyo.
