We’ve always believed that the things we bring into our lives can bring more than just look good. They have the ability to tell stories and bring about deep conversations. 💬 And they do it all consciously of the people and places we care about. 🌏✨

From makers who upcycle discarded cassette tapes into textiles, to artists who turn familiar local food into playful prints, every item we stock is chosen with intention.

That’s why our National Day Gift Guide is filled with everyday pieces that carry meaning. If you’re exploring more conscious ways to gift on Singapore’s 61st, we’d love to journey with you. 🇸🇬

Browse all these purposeful products online and have your gifts delivered, or come by our outlets to see, feel and experience these stories in person. 🛒🚚🏡

There’s something about the food we grow up with that stays with us, not just the taste, but all the little memories and rituals that come with it. 🇸🇬

Our nasi lemak at Potong Pasir is one of those dishes for Daniel. It’s made in-house using his mum’s recipe, with the familiar flavours he grew up eating at home.

Even today, some of those little rituals haven’t changed. Daniel still follows his mum to the local market to pick up ikan bilis from the same trusted supplier she has been buying from for years. It’s such a simple, everyday thing, but in Singapore, where food is so deeply woven into how we live, gather and connect, these are often the traditions that stay with us.

Our version comes with fragrant coconut and pandan rice, roasted turmeric-spiced chicken thigh, baked ikan bilis, and his mum’s homemade sambal. 🌶️

This National Day, we wanted to share something that feels personal to our family, while celebrating something so many of us can relate to - the recipes we grow up with, the stalls and suppliers we keep going back to, and the way food has a special way of bringing people together. ❤️

📞 We just loved every answer we heard at our phone booth at The Good Weekend at The Foundry.

These questions matter because they echo the spirit of the entire event: ordinary people choosing kindness, sustainability, and community, then turning those choices into real impact. 🌱

The Good Weekend brought together brands building businesses with social purpose at their core. Businesses supporting vulnerable communities, championing zero‑waste living, and proving that doing good can and should be part of a thriving business model. ♻️💼

A better world doesn’t need to start with grand gestures, but with small, consistent acts of care. ✨

Thank you for picking up the phone and sharing your perspectives. Because of you, the world looks a bit brighter. 🙏

Some days call for a quiet corner and a warm cup. That’s us at The Social Space. ☕✨

We’ve got two homes for it: a quiet corner in Kreta Ayer, and a cosier one tucked into Potong Pasir. 🏡🌿

Order your coffee the way you like it, or let the matcha talk you into staying a little longer, while pairing it with cosy brunch bites from our kitchen. There’s always something fresh to enjoy, and a reason to linger. 🥐🍰

Wander over to our retail shelves, too; everything is chosen with care, part of how we give back as a social enterprise, one small purchase at a time.

However you show up, with a friend, a furry plus-one, a notebook full of ideas or just a quiet mind, there’s a seat waiting for you here.

Coming to The Good Weekend means you’ll be supporting women entrepreneurs, circular fashion, low-waste living, and people rethinking the way we eat and clean at home, all in one place. 🌱

We just had to ask more of the people behind The Good Weekend who they are, what they’re building, and what they’re bringing to the weekend, because there’s so much heart behind what they do. You’ll meet people building thoughtful businesses with care and intention, from women running home-based brands to teams curating pre-loved pieces, handmade goods, and everyday essentials with a more sustainable touch. 🤝

There’s also a beautiful mix of people involved behind the scenes, from volunteers to trainees, all helping bring these products and stories to life. These are people who care deeply about social impact, dignity, and everyday choices, and The Good Weekend is all about giving them a space to share that with the community. ✨

Come and be part of a weekend that celebrates purpose-led businesses and the people behind them.

These are the people behind the booths at The Good Weekend, and we had the privilege of talking to them and hearing directly from them in their own words.

It’s always meaningful to listen to their stories, the journeys that led them here, and the heart behind the causes and businesses they’ve built.

Across the weekend, you’ll find a mix of playful local merch for the Singapore-proud 🇸🇬, thoughtful art for those who love slow, intentional making 🎨, activities that give back for anyone who cares about social and environmental causes 🌱, and creative, hands-on experiences perfect for everyone.

It’s a space for people who want to do good to come together and create something positive. Bring your family and friends and spend it at The Good Weekend.

We got together some of the creatives and vendors behind The Good Weekend to hear why they do what they do and why this space matters to them. 💬

For many, it goes beyond simply showing up for a market. It’s about having a platform to share their craft, their stories, and the values that shape their work. To be part of a thriving community that believes in doing good, supporting one another, and creating something more meaningful together. 🤝

Happening as we head into National Day season, The Good Weekend is also a celebration of Singapore. 🇸🇬 This is where it all comes to life, a space to experience the energy that comes from a shared purpose. ✨

And these talented individuals are just a small glimpse of who will be there. There’s definitely more to meet, more to hear, and more to experience.

Spend your weekend right and be part of a greater cause.

If .sg walls could talk, they’d have quite a story to tell. 🏛️🕰️

The Social Space’s very own Farhana sat down with Marlene, Director of The Foundry, to talk about what this space means today.

This building has worn many hats: a maternity ward that welcomed new life, Singapore’s Elections Department, and even home to the LKY immersive exhibit.

Now known as The Foundry, it’s now turned into a collective social impact hub by The Majurity Trust. A place where organisations come together to build relationships and shape new ideas. Like a metal foundry melds materials to build strong foundations, this space melds people and purpose to strengthen the foundations of a thriving Singapore. 🌱

Launched by President Tharman in November 2024 with 14 organisations, it’s since grown to 32. And in a couple of weeks, The Good Weekend takes over the very same grounds.

Kick off the National Day season and spend your weekend with local brands, creative workshops, and thoughtful finds that celebrate Singapore, all while supporting businesses doing good. 🛍️🎨

Some runs are about pace.
This one is about people.

After two wonderful mornings of movement, community, and conversations, Run For Good is back for August - and this edition is a little different. ☕✨

For the first time, we'll be leaving our usual Potong Pasir route and heading into the city as part of The Good Weekend 2026, a National Day community event celebrating social impact, conscious living, and doing good together.

We'll be starting and ending at Bettr Coffee @ The Foundry, making our way through the Bras Basah district and towards Esplanade Park before returning to join the festivities at The Good Weekend.

Run, jog, walk, or simply come for the morning and the company. There's no pressure, no timing, and no competition.

All proceeds will go towards supporting Fashion For Cancer, and every ticket includes a complimentary coffee after the run.

Leading this month's run are the awesome folks from Bettr Coffee, Singapore's largest impact-driven coffee company and Southeast Asia's first certified B Corporation. Like us, they believe that meaningful change happens when communities come together, one conversation, one connection and one step at a time.

As with every Run For Good session, some of the cancer survivors from Fashion For Cancer will also be joining us on the route. 💜

And when the run ends, the morning doesn't have to.

Stay on to explore The Good Weekend - a marketplace of social enterprises, purpose-driven brands, workshops, food, drinks, and community experiences, all coming together to celebrate doing good.

📅 Saturday, 1 August 2026
📍 Bettr Coffee @ The Foundry (11 Prinsep Link, S'pore 187949)
⏰ Meet at 7.00am, run starts at 7.30am
🏃🏻 3.5km to 5km social run/walk
🎫 $20 per pax, includes 1 drink

Whether you're joining us for the cause, the community, the movement, or a meaningful way to start your National Day celebrations, we'd love to have you with us. 💛
