NEPAL BHUKAMPA: KAHA THIYAU?

Up in the Himalayas, what happens when the earth beneath you shakes violently?

After a decade, this project documents the memories of survivors — at the exact moment and place — when a 7.8-magnitude earthquake struck Nepal — claiming the lives of almost 9,000 people and leaving 22,000 others injured.

As the memory of the earthquake fast fades from Nepali society — we remember its impact. All these profiles are united by timing and impact of this earthquake. We travel back in time where a single event reverberates into the future. This 250-page book is published by Pagesetters and designed by Sarah & Schooling.
