Sambal Semarang is our signature Sambal, and one of the best-selling in the menu with authentic Semarang recipe that has been passionately adopted from the city of Semarang itself. Sambal Semarang is an authentic Indonesian sambal originated from Semarang City itself which is made in a bountiful array of fresh handpicked ingredients. Sambal Semarang is unique and different as the way it is made is adopted from the Semarang City itself. The technique to make the sambal itself is an arduous process where many different processes are required to ensure the sweetness of all the natural ingredients are properly extracted. Our range of sambals were inspired after our first trip to Semarang previously when we visited our helper’s village. It was then when we were introduced to her city’s sambal when we had our first bite into a dish with the sambal served. We completely fell in love with the sambal and because of that tremendous amount of love, we eventually learned how to cook the sambals on our own. It is then when we have learned the cooking process that we diversified the sambals into a range that would be loved by our dear Singaporeans. There is a distinct flavor that is perfect in between the mid spiciness and the sweetness naturally derived from the fragrant onions.
