As I travelled around the country, much of our local favourite food are now mostly sold by foreigners who do not know the original taste we have had for the past 50 years.

Many next gen of hawkers do not wish to continue their parents business as they can get a much better paying job sitting at the desk in some office, which isn't as much tiring as standing behind the flame to provide the same good food.

I thus decided that I should continue my Father's business so that our traditions and recipes can carry on with me.

I think we should take back our food market, and create Singaporean food once again by Singaporeans.
